Faces going blurry is late. Smaller things show up first, which is why I talked myself out of them.

Her name and the day she's free aren't a plan. They're the first quiet admission that I might need someone. I haven't shown her the notebook.

Waiting until it's bad enough feels careful. It just delays the same conversation. I've already pushed it twice.
